Growing Up German-Russian: A Radio Series - Life in Russia
“Growing Up German-Russian” contains audio clips from interviews done for the Dakota Memories Oral History Project. All interviewees are descendants of German-Russian immigrants to the Northern Plains. They speak of a wide variety of experiences of rural and small town life, including farm life, incidents with fire, birth, funerals, animals, life in Russia, and Ellis Island.
