Prairie Musicians: Brenda Weiler - Autobiography

Weiler describes her background from a musical family and discusses her entrance into the music business.

Born and raised in Fargo, N.D., Brenda Weiler first began playing guitar her senior year of high school and decided to forgo college to tour and perform. In the eight years following her high school graduation she released five albums. Her music is described as having pure vocals, personal lyrics, and a pure guitar sound. She has lived in Minneapolis and Portland but always remained close to her Fargo roots. As a songwriter, she has shared through her music some of the pain she and her family have experienced after losing one of her sisters to suicide.
