Habitats of North Dakota
To complement 4th Grade North Dakota Studies, five units discussing the habitats of North Dakota are being developed and will be available for the 2008-2009 school year. The five habitats of North Dakota include wetlands, prairie, woodlands, Badlands, and riparian.
These five habitat units are a collaborative effort between the North Dakota Game and Fish Department and the North Dakota Center for Distance Education.
The habitat units will assist in the teaching of science and social studies topics related to North Dakota Studies.
Watch for future announcements regarding these new habitat units.
