- Suitcase Exhibits for North Dakota (SEND Trunks) are available at a nominal fee by calling the Museum and Education Division at (701) 328-2794 or accessing the pdf file below. These trunks may be picked up or shipped. Trunks appropriate for this Early Settlement unit of study:

- In-Service Teacher Training—opportunities for in-service workshops. For more information, contact the Museum and Education Division at (701) 328-2792.
- Many additional educational resources (videos, CDs, DVDs, books, etc.) are available to educators through the State Historical Society of North Dakota of which the North Dakota Heritage Center is a part.
- Arrange for your class to visit the Heritage Center. Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance by calling the Visitor Services Coordinator at (701) 328-2674 or E-mailing the person listed below. One chaperone per 10 students is highly recommended.
